Trade 66 | Alex & Maria
Meeting Lizzie in Uganda was to lead me back to Germany to photograph her brother's wedding. First meeting Alex and Maria in London I was already confident it would be a good fit coming from the same ilk as Lizzie and I wasn't disappointed.
Warm and friendly hosts from the off as their weekend was guided by the 200ml Kolsch beer glasses that seemed to refill endlessly as many travelled from the UK, USA and elsewhere in Germany to be there. As well the usual necessities traded Alex and Maria also covered my ticket to New York that would lead me to continent number three.
So began year two of the project.
British photographer moving between hosts and countries through a back-to-back series of creative trades. Exchanging my photography for all of my needs in a mission to reach every continent without needing money.
